Chairman of the Board, Stuart Gregory, received his Bachelor of Science in Insurance
from Florida State University.
Mr. Gregory is a past president of the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce, Goodwill
Industries of Manasota and Manatee Boys Clubs. He is also past chairman of Manatee
Civic Center Authority, and past president and campaign chairman of the United Way
of Manatee County. He has received the Brotherhood Award from the National Conference
of Christians and Jews, and the Boys Clubs National Bronze Keystone Award. Mr. Gregory
has also served on several national Producer's Councils, advisory boards to major
insurance companies
Thomas R. Hayes
Thomas Hayes, COO/CEO, serves Des Champs & Gregory
as its managing general partner. He received his Bachelor of Arts in marketing from
the University of Florida's School of Business.
Mr. Hayes is past president of the Sarasota Sunrise Kiwanis Club and past 2nd vice
president of the Sarasota and Manatee Chapters of the National Association of Homebuilders.
He is a well-known and popular speaker on the national level and is the author of
numerous insurance related articles for state and national publications. In 1989,
the Traveler's Insurance Company awarded him their highest honor, The Quality of
Life Award.
Mr. Hayes has also served as both a member and chairman on a number of national
Producer's Councils, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of American Bank and
Treasurer-Trustee of Florida Studio Theatre.
Andy Gregory, President, received his Bachelor of Science from the
University of Florida.
After working several years with one of the nation's largest independent insurance
agencies, Andy returned to the Bradenton area to join Des Champs & Gregory,
Inc. Mr. Gregory proudly volunteers his time with the Manatee Community College
Foundation as the current Vice President. He chairs the Operating Committee for
the Bradenton campus and is Chairman of the annual MCC Pops Concert, "Evening Under
the Stars". He contributed his expertise to the Junior Achievement program by teaching
elementary students the basics of business. He is presently appointed Director of
the City of Bradenton Pension Board.
Lisa Clark, Vice President of Operations is originally from Ohio, but has lived
in Florida since 1969. Her introduction to the insurance industry occurred in 1988,
when she started as a receptionist at a small agency in Sarasota, Florida. She has
been a licensed Property & Casualty Agent since 1991. Lisa's background in the
industry is strong in personal property & casualty insurance, but she has 10
plus years of experience managing all departments of an insurance agency, including
its computer technologies. Some of Lisa's accomplishments are: writing and implementing
procedures and employee manuals, and developing training procedures to give newcomers
to this industry a core background that will help launch their career with us. Lisa
joined the D&G family in 2005.
