LISA R. CLARK

Vice President of Operations
 
Lisa Clark, Vice President of Operations, is originally from Ohio, but has lived in Florida since 1969. Her introduction to the insurance industry occurred in 1988, when she started as a receptionist at a small agency in Sarasota, Florida. She has been a licensed Property & Casualty Agent since 1991. Lisa's background in the industry is strong in personal property & casualty insurance, and she has 15 plus years of experience managing all departments of an insurance agency, including its computer technologies. Lisa joined Des Champs & Gregory, Inc. in 2005.

Management Principles

The four principles I live by in our organization are: planning, organizing, directing and controlling. All of these principles are every day practices. Without each of these principles, we would not have the necessary tools to make us successful.
 

Management Philosophy

Management should provide guidance, direction, leadership and finally set an example for everyone.
My management philosophy is to provide an environment that leads to productive employees. I achieve this through conflict management, keeping the morale high, and providing encouragement and rewards.

TAMMY MORRISON

Accounting Manager
 
Tammy is a Bradenton native, but grew up in Allen Park Michigan. She started her career in accounting at a wholesale produce distributor in Detroit Michigan. In 1994, Tammy and her two sons, moved back to her birthplace of Bradenton, Florida. Tammy joined Des Champs & Gregory, Inc. in 1995 as a general office assistant. Tammy's prior experience in accounting helped her move into that area and today she is our Accounting Manager. Tammy's grandfather started working with Mr. Des Champs back in the early 1960's. Later her aunt also worked as a personal lines Sales Producer. This agency has been in her family for generations.

VALERIE TRENT

Commercial Lines Manager
 
Valerie Trent is originally from Jacksonville, Florida and has been in the insurance industry since 1995. She is a licensed Property and Casualty Agent and a Certified Risk Manager. She has many years of experience working in an independent insurance agency in both Personal and Commercial Lines Customer Service Departments. In addition to her management duties, she also handles a book of business and ensures that customer service standards are maintained at the highest levels possible. She strives to make sure that each opportunity to assist a customer is completed to their satisfaction and that others in her department strive for that same standard.

Prior to joining Des Champs & Gregory in 2005, Valerie worked for an independent agency in Jacksonville, where she worked her way up the organization and spent majority of her time as a Commercial Lines Account Manager and Team Leader.

Management Principles

Organizations depend on their customers. Therefore I make it my business to understand current and future customer needs. I strive to meet customer requirements and exceed customer expectations.
Leaders establish unity of purpose and direction of organization. It is my goal to create and maintain the internal environment in which people can become fully involved in achieving the organization's objectives.
I am constantly gathering data and information in order to make effective decisions. Continual improvement of our processes is a permanent objective for me. People at all levels are the essence of an organization and their full involvement enables their abilities to be used for the organization's benefit. I strive to maintain their involvement.

Management Philosophy

Anticipating changing market needs and create ways to improve our unique technologies is critical to me. I work hard to improve operational efficiency to maintain profit necessary to conduct business and remain a progressive agency. Providing better service to our customers as partners in their operations, administrations and businesses is a priority of mine.

BONNIE CORSI

Personal Lines Manager
 
I am originally from the Western New York area, just south of Buffalo, New York. I made the move to Bradenton, Florida in August 1986, and started in the insurance industry as a data entry clerk. I quickly advanced into a personal lines sales and service position, and I have been a licensed Property & Casualty Agent since 1986. Des Champs & Gregory, Inc. has been my home for over 20 years, I am currently the Personal Lines Manager. I have enjoyed being the Personal Lines Manager; working with the Des Champs & Gregory, Inc. family has been a valuable experience.

Personal Lines Sales Manager
 
I am originally from Bradenton, FL and never left because we live in paradise. I have been in the Insurance Industry since 2003. After college graduation, (Go Bulls!) I started with an independent agency as a receptionist and discovered my passion for insurance. I quickly moved to a customer service position that same year, and found that I enjoyed writing new business. In 2005, I proudly accepted a sales position with one of the longest operational independent agencies in our community, Des Champs and Gregory.

Management Principles

I believe success in any organization depends on two principles that should be utilized daily: integrity and accountability. These principles should not only be applied to our customers but also our interactions with each other. Integrity and accountability creates better communication and stronger relationships within the team, and just as importantly our clients.

Management Philosophy

In an ever changing industry I believe in educating and sharing knowledge with members of my team. A good leader should not “just talk the talk but walk the walk “. I try to keep myself up on what members of my team do daily. This allows me to keep up my skills navigating various company sites with ease. It also affords me the ability to help as needed. I believe in sharing knowledge and skill, to promote confidence within my team to better serve our customers quickly and efficiently.
